يعتبر العصب الفخذي من أطول أعصاب الطرف السفلي , ويدخل عبر العضلة القطنية الكبيرة , وبعدها يصل بين العضلة الحرقفية و اللفافة الحرقفية و يمر من تحت الرباط الأربي مع الوريد الفخذي و الشريان الفخذي .
